12 Constructions for Timpani by Ian Antonio
12 Constructions for Timpani by Ian Antonio
12 Constructions for Timpani is a collection of timpani etudes designed for percussionists to showcase a variety of skills in a short period of time. Each etude asks the performer to demonstrate a range of articulations, rolls, dampening, excellent time, musical phrasing, and more. Because performances in audition, contest, or jury settings are often on unfamiliar drums, the etudes do not feature internal tuning changes, making them ideal selections for these occasions.
