This fact, among many other things, was the topic of conversation between Chris Sies and I one hot summer afternoon in Waco, TX in 2018. His debut EP, Good Grief (2020) was written while he was a student of Todd Meehan at the Baylor University School of Music, and features a blend of percussion chamber music, psychedelia, and songwriting, as well as co-production and collaboration from Chris Sies. His newest work, \u003cem\u003eSaturn, still returning\u003c\/em\u003e (2024) is a multi-movement work written for a solo percussionist on vibraphone, glockenspiel, snare, kick, and electronics.
